Excellent stay close to Souq Waqif
convenient locationbreakfast variety
The location is very convenient. It's a short walk to Souq Waqif. Breakfast offered a massive variety of options. I appreciated that the staff were cooperative and tried their best to. The hotel is only a few steps from the metro station.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom featured strong water pressure and included a shattaf (a bidet), which i found very useful. the room provided all the necessary amenities for a comfortable experience.

The location is superb. it's just on the edge of the waqif souk. You can spend hours enjoying the local sights. it is also across the road from the metro station.. made it easy to move around the city.
the hotel promotes itself as a 5-star, but it fell a bit short. the restaurant staff seemed overwhelmed, especially during breakfast. items ran out quickly and the selection wasn't as extensive as i expect at similar hotels..

The staff was friendly and tried to assist when available.
The room I got wasn't properly cleaned. There was dust everywhere, and the curtains had a lot of dust on them. I told housekeeping immediately after getting in the room, but it didn't get fixed, it was a bad experience.

the breakfast had a wide choice and seemed pretty decent i guess
the room service was slow i had to call multiple times over twenty minutes just to get a simple request fulfilled it was quite annoying and nobody seemed to care about the complaints i raised i seemed like i was bothering them for basic things

i was not impressed with housekeeping. some days i was missing towels, other days i was missing coffee. it seemed like they weren't checking a list to ensure all items were available to me daily.. the wifi also was not reliable. i had speed issues constantly.

The hotel is close to souq waqif. That was acceptable.
The bathroom was small and smelled bad. the restaurant staff could not cope, especially at breakfast. the coffee was terrible. We could barely drink it.
